Online Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Selkie Australia, customer satisfaction is one of our core values. If you change your mind about an item purchased on www.selkie.net.au, you are entitled to an exchange or refund within 31 days of receipt should it meet the below requirements:
*Proof of purchase provided
*Garment in original condition, including unworn and unwashed
*Returns form enclosed - contact us via email@example.com to receive a returns number and form and please keep a copy of your reference email.
For hygiene reasons, swimwear must always be tried on over your underwear and we reserve the right to refuse a return if the product has had the hygiene label removed or due care has not been taken to keep garment in original condition.
Postage of Exchange or Refund
Selkie does not accept responsibility of customer sent return or exchange packages; so it is advised that when shipping returns or exchanges that meet the above required criteria, customers should select a service that provides tracking.
If customers are local, returns are welcome to deliver items to a Selkie team member and receive exchange item.
PLEASE NOTE: Duty, tax and/or shipping costs incurred on an exchange or refund order is at the customers’ expense and cannot be refunded unless the item is deemed faulty by Selkie team.

Refunds will be processed via bank deposit into the account of the customer within 7-10 working days. Please ensure your bank details are correct on returns form. Should the returns form be incorrectly filled in no responsibility will be taken by Selkie to retrieve lost funds.
Exchanges or Replacements
Selkie offers exchanges and/or replacements that meet the required criteria for another size, colour or item; subject to product availability. These will be processed within 5 business days of receipt and notification of this transaction will be provided to the nominated email address.A limit of 1 exchange per order applies, unless product deemed faulty by Selkie. Should a refund be requested for the exchanged item, Selkie is happy to process a refund, should it meet the Returns Policy requirements.
Same Value Exchange
Should the item requested for exchange be the same value as that of the product being returned, no additional payment will be required and the exchange item will be dispatched free of charge.
Different Value Exchange
Should the item requested for exchange be different value as that of the product being returned, one of two scenarios will occur:
1. A variance where payment is owed to the customer will be refunded as per the original order payment method.
2. A variance where payment is owed to Selkie, Selkie will contact the customer via email prior to processing and dispatch to take additional payment.
3. Email is our primary method of communication and phone will be a secondary contact point should email not be answered.
